In 1986: Al-Bahrain Company was established in Al-Karrada, Baghdad. This company started dealing with various types of electronic components, semiconductor & A / V products.
Number of employees = 4 personnel

In 1989: A new big showroom opened in Baghdad, Bab Al-Sharqi area. This area has become the center of a specialized market for electronic components & products.

The business of the company was extended to cover other products like aerials, soldering wire and iron, tools, measuring devices, speakers and other products.
Number of employees = 8 personnel

In 1993: The Company started in the field of electrical items & fittings in the electrical market at
Al-Rasheed Street. Products covered by this field are: Holders, switches, socks, plugs, fittings...

In 1994: A factory for colored CPT reconditioning was established in Baghdad, Dawoody industrial area. Sizes of reconditioned CPT's are from 14~ 32.

In 1996: The Company started its SKD & CKD supply business for radio & television sets, and the company name has been changed to Al-Aswar Trading Company.

In 2003: Business fields were extremely extended due to dealing with big companies in the following fields:

• Panasonic for Telecommunication products
• Goot (Japan) for Tools
• Proskit (Taiwan) for Tools
• Televis (Spain) for A/V products
• Kocom (Korea) for Monitoring cameras

Moreover, mobile & PBX accessories and more professional tools , were added to the business.
